Jean Bériault is a Petroleum Engineer, B.Sc., P.Eng. (University of Calgary, Alberta Canada). She has worked on various small and substantial projects in business, marketing, and oil & gas companies. Jean’s specialized engineering & consultative approach has taken her to numerous plays in the U.S., Australia, Poland, Egypt, Mongolia (South Gobi Basin), Savannakhét, Laos, Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) & South America (Columbia).

Jean embraces the opportunities for local community involvement in all its forms, Habitat for Humanity, church ministries, BNI, a mentor for Junior Achievement, a member of 100 Women Who Care and Women In Business, past VP and Past President for our local Filipino Association, a Director with Southeast Alberta Watershed Alliance (SEAWA) and a Member at Large with the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) local branch. ​In addition to engineering, Jean currently co-owns and partners with other companies and is an asset in the operations and administration of the Avance Creative & Marketing Strategies, who reports to Tana.

Jean brings over 25 years of business intelligence to this marketing team and enjoys the outdoor life at the acreage with her Donkey Eeyore.

Luc Beriault is a senior C-level executive with special project experience, who also reports to our Brand & Marketing Director, Tana.

Luc has started his career with the Canadian Forces and served 17 years. He then moved to the private sector through Citi Group Financials and Toshiba Canada for ten years before opening his first business in Human Resources consulting 20 years ago and still going strong with 4 locations. Luc went back to school in 2019 to finish his MBA in entrepreneurship.

Luc and Jean have been partners with Avance for over 5 years and also going strong. He qualifies himself as a “wannabe farmer” one day!

Pamela is originally from Medicine Hat and after 21 years in Calgary, she returned to pursue the next
chapter in her life, closer to family, in the city she has always called home.

Pamela brings to our team over a decade of administrative and customer service experience, a passion
for order, a strong technical understanding of many office programs and software systems and an infinity

to nurture those around her. In addition to greeting all who enter the 640 Professional Building, Pamela
tends to the needs of the building’s tenants and provides administrative support to both the 640 and
Positive Life Concepts teams alike.

When Pamela is not in the office, her many hats include interior designer, Greek language tutor,
caregiver, artist, and loving aunt. When time permits, you’ll find her perfecting recipes in the kitchen or
talking to her tomato plants during the summer.

Born in Tabor Alberta, Drew is such a strong family man.  All of his time goes to nature and family time.  Drew has been working with the team at PLC for close to 10 years and is our IT, Digital Recruiter Technologist and every technology corporate authority. 

He is our local support and IT, database and data conversion, and computer expert.

Jay is a highly skilled IT specialist who has extensive experience in WordPress development, QA testing, and low code technology. He recently moved to Canada and is excited to take on new challenges in the tech industry.

Jay has a passion for technology that goes beyond just a job. He is always searching for the latest tech trends and enjoys playing online games and learning about cryptocurrencies in his spare time. He also has a talent for streamlining processes using low-code software and applications, which allows him to give more to the table for the company.

Matt Semenok is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Medicine Hat College). Who has worked closely with entrepreneurs and small businesses as a graphic designer throughout
Alberta and Saskatchewan. Specializing in typography, branding, and content creation while finding new trends and ideas in graphic designs.

Matt is an active member within the Medicine Hat community in both the arts and music, with over five years of experience in event organizing. He has a passion to help the city and community grow through the different organizations he works with.
